The aim is to prepare your child for the 21st century. Every activity within YLA aims at specific competencies, and the combination of these activities fosters holistic development in your child.
Youth Leadership Academy Activities
Every Saturday, your child will engage in six different activities from 10 am to 4 pm, including:
e2 Young Engineers
e2 Young Engineers is the only engineering program that is recognized by Harvard University
Leaders Study
During these sessions, your child will encounter numerous leaders from various corners of the globe
Synthesis
Elon Musk built a revolutionary private school (Synthesis) for the kids of SpaceX rocket scientists
Interpersonal skills
Emotional intelligence fostering empathy and teamwork acquiring social and interpersonal skills
Financial Literacy
Equip children with essential financial knowledge and skills through tailored real-life scenarios and projects
Outdoor trips
Embark on unforgettable adventures in the real world, providing them with valuable hands-on learning experiences
From Our Founder
OUR STORY
I am Saif Lutfi, the proud founder of the Youth Leadership Academy, based in Manchester. Driven by my role as a parent, I was inspired to create an environment where my own children could thrive.
Our mission is to equip young individuals with the essential skills necessary to navigate the challenges of the 21st century while providing a blend of education and entertainment on weekends.
With a passion for nurturing young minds, my journey began over a decade ago in Sudan, Africa, where my program garnered remarkable success. Now returning to Manchester, my home for 15 years, I bring a wealth of experience from corporate training and human development across 40 countries.
My heart is set on investing in the next generation, driven by a profound gratitude for the lessons learned abroad. As we look ahead, my family and I are poised for even greater endeavors. Our next venture involves the establishment of Kalm Montessori School, poised to become the world's second quadrilingual institution.
